SPAL Automotive is glad to inform that, as part of our continuous improvement policy, a new additional METAL COVER that will be directly fixed on the plastic motor cap of SPAL standard motors (\/C) used for catalogue axial fans will be implemented.<\/p>\r\n

Such a METAL COVER is realized in standard iron steel with black cataforesis surface treatment.<\/p>\r\n

Its assembly on motor will not affect at all:<\/p>\r\n

performances of products<\/p>\r\n

fixing of products (Customer’s interface).<\/p>\r\n

Overall dimensions of fans are only affected in a negligible way: the thickness of this metal cover is 0,5 mm and therefore the total thickness of the products will increase of only approx. 0,5 mm.<\/p>\r\n

Fans with METAL COVER are fully interchangeable with fans currently supplied: for reasons above written no additional validation is requested.<\/p>\r\n

This additional METAL COVER will provide following improvements:<\/p>\r\n

additional thermal and mechanical protection against external stresses;<\/p>\r\n

protection for the plastic motor cap against external agents and UV ray.<\/p>\r\n

Brushless axial fans and centrifugal blowers<\/p>\r\n
